Her Majesty at Bakers Street Station

On the 20th of March, Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II made her first public appearance in a week along with the Duke of Edinburgh and the Duchess of Cambridge to Bakers Street Station, London to mark the underground’s 150th anniversary.

The Queen, who has been recovering from sickness which landed her in hospital on unveiled a new plaque with her name on it at the station and the Duchess of Cambridge was given a ‘baby on board badge’ which, in the end, to the admiration of the crowd, put on.

Her Majesty looked as if she was making a great recovery and the crowds seemed to love seeing her accompanied by Prince Philip and the duchess.
