In a landslide vote, the Falkland Islands have voted to remain a British Overseas Territory.

The official count on Monday showed 99.8% of islanders voted in favour of remaining a British Overseas Territory in the two-day referendum, which was rejected by Argentina as a meaningless publicity stunt. Only three “no” votes were cast. — TVNZ

The Falklands have a population of around 2,800 and a land area of 12,170 square kilometres.
