Prince of Wales to Appear on TV Again

Prince Charles, Prince of Wales

Prince Charles, Prince of Wales

It has been a little known subject when it comes to the Royal Family of the United Kingdom but a subject nonetheless and an interesting one at that.

With the first episode screening in the United Kingdom on the 16th of April at 10:35pm on ITV the Prince of Wales will himself present and narrate the new documentary which looks into the history of the artists within the Royal Family.

The documentary has been described in a press release as such:

In Royal Paintbox, the Prince of Wales reveals an extraordinary treasure trove of work by his forebears, many of whom were accomplished amateur artists, and traces his family’s love of painting through the generations. This story is brought to the screen for the first time by award-winning film-maker Margy Kinmonth, who produced and directed Looking For Lowry in the Perspectives strand for ITV.

The prince himself has been known to paint and will look at some actual works by members of the Royal Family during the series.
