On the 21st of May 2013 the Royal Family had a private tour of the garden that Prince Harry helped to create and enter into the Chelsea Garden Show’s 100th Anniversary in memory of his mother the late Diana, Princess of Wales for the charity Sentebale which the prince himself helped to found.
Family members including Her Majesty, The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, Princess Beatrice and Zara Tindall (Phillips) viewed the garden and congratulated the 28 year old prince on the achievement.
The Royal Family has had a long standing relationship with the Chelsea Garden Show with Prince Harry’s own father, the Prince of Wales designing his own garden back in 2002.
Standing on a stone circle in the centre of his garden, Prince Harry told Her Majesty
“Pa thought it was going to spin round – but sadly it doesn’t.”
It was a great day filled with colour, excitement and what looked like a great deal of happiness from all involved.
