Only hours ago Clarence House and Kensingon Palace announced officially that Her
Royal Highness, The Duchess of Cambridge was accompanied by Prince William, The Duke of Cambridge to the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London to give birth to her first child.
As soon as the news hit Twitter and the internet as a whole lit up and the world’s media scrambled to follow the breaking news. Monarchy New Zealand sent out a press release pack including the 36 names of buildings and landmarks throughout the country that will be lighting up either pink or blue (based on the gender of the child) in recognition of the birth.
Greeting card company Dom and Geri have created an online card to celebrate the birth. You can find out more and sign the card on their website.
More news and information will be posted as we have it.
